2021 Hidden Forest Piranhas Coaches

Hey y’all I’m Coach Britt! I am so excited for the opportunity to be the Head Coach for the Hidden Forest Piranha’s!!! I am currently a stay-at-home mom, where I am actively involved with my daughters Aiden (12) and Sawyer’s (2) school, sports and extra-curricular activities. I have a background in education, with a specialty in Math and Science, grades 4th-8th. I like to shop, spend time with my family and friends, coach basketball, soccer and swimming. I own a swim lesson company, Swim for Life, where our mission is to promote water safety and survival skills to neighborhood community pools. I am also a youth sports coach and Assistant Sports Director at the JCC. I was a swimmer on swim team growing up from the age of 4 through 15, and have been working with children and adults teaching them how to swim since 2003. My swim lessons consist of teaching babies to adults where I promote water safety, stroke technique and endurance training. This summer I am really looking forward to helping motivate all children to swim to the best of their abilities. Coaching swim is truly my passion and I can not wait to share my experiences with the Hidden Forest Piranha’s Swim Team! I am looking forward to an amazing summer with you all and watching all the children grow and develop into more confident and strong swimmers!!! GO PIRANHA’S see you on the deck!!!

Hi, my name is Marlie Riojas and I am super excited to be returning to coach this year. I am studying Christian Ministry at Regent University and work for YoungLife leading a middle school ministry called WyldLife. I was a Hidden Forest Piranha swimmer for 14 years and am returning for my 5th year as a coach. I swam on the swim team at Churchill High School for 3 years swimming various events as well as was a club swimmer for a little while. Being a Piranha for 14 years I have many memories on this team. Some of my favorite memories are from swimming in meets with friends and just having fun bonding with my team mates. Coaching the past five years has also given me some of the best memories. It is so rewarding watching the improvement of swimmers over the span of the season and seeing swimmer return the following season. I can’t wait to see the awesome things we do as a team this season and what fun memories we make! Go Piranhas!

Bio coming soon...

Hi I’m Hannah Hipp and I’m so happy to be coaching this year for the Hidden Forest Piranhas! I am a junior at Antonian College Preparatory High school and I’ve swam for the Antonian team for two years now! I’ve been part of the Hidden Forest family for many years now and have loved every minute of it! I’ve met some of my best friends through the swim team and had many great adventures! Competing with the team is my favorite because you get to cheer your friends on and everyone is so encouraging! I’m so excited to see everyone again and make even more amazing memories! Let’s make some Bubbles! Go Piranhas.

Hi, I’m Ethan Moilanen and I’m excited to be coaching this year at Hidden Forest! I am a junior at Churchill High School, and I’ve swam on the varsity team for three years. I’ve swam for Alamo Area Aquatics Association for four years total, and have been a part of the summer league experience since I was five. My favorite parts about swim team are the great sense of community and the growth seen over the season. I’m excited to give back to the sport that has given so much to me. Go Piranhas!
